The Day of the Dhimmi is Done -
Michael Lumish, PhD, proprietor. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Mike, I see that there is no piece for to today either here or at Elder. I hear there were some mud slides in Oakland. I hope you're O.K., and that you're just taking a break for Passover.
Heya man, we're good.I guess that I am in the process of rethinking what I want to do with my writing. I know what I want to say and what my essential themes are, but I don't believe that I am getting through so I am considering other forms, including a book length treatment. What this means is that I expect to be in and out, but perhaps not quite so regular as I once was.I honestly don't know, but we'll see.In any case, this is what I have in mind:ZioNazi: an American Jewish Political Memoir from Obama to TrumpThesis Statement:The Democratic Party has betrayed Jewish, and other minority groups, throughout the world via the erosion of universal human rights in its ideological conflict with the multicultural ideal for the soul of the progressive-left.The Argument:The central values of the Democratic party are universal human rights and the multicultural ideal. These values, however, are mutually exclusive in both theory and practice. In the tension between them multiculturalism is overwhelming universal human rights within the larger Democratic Party ideological framework. This decline in significance of universal human rights led to the betrayal of women, Gay people, and minorities throughout the Middle East, the emergence of the new politically-correct racism at home, suppression of freedom of speech on the campuses, and the rise of progressive-left antisemitic anti-Zionism throughout the West, as a whole.I figure that I can probably have a reasonable first draft of either the introduction or one of the chapters within a couple of months and then, maybe, I can find a publisher. We shall see.
Don't call it "Zio-Nazi"; those two words shouldn't be in the same sentence, same line, or even same quotation marks. Call it "Sellout: an American Jewish Political Memoir from Obama to Trump" It leaves the reader wondering who is selling out, and when they read, the discover how the Democrat Party has sold out quality for quantity (Muslim voters)
Woo-hoo Mike. Good stuff!!!!!In the meantime looks like we have been wrong all along about Muslims hating Jews and Gharqad trees and all that. What a relief!"The “Jew Killing Hadith” And The Myth of An Antisemitic Genocide In Muslim Scripture"http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/58da7e56e4b0e96354656eb6
"Islam denounces all forms of anti-Semitism and racism". Now I see why progressives love it so much.
Wow! Islam is really on the move. You'll never know what hit you.
Mike, I think you're thesis and argument are both terrific, and are what brought me here in the first place. When I first read you at Elder a bell went off in my head. You have helped me immeasurably in figuring out just what the hell is going on. May I ask whom specifically you are trying to get through to?
Well, that's an excellent question!LOL.I guess as many people as I possibly can. Y'know, I've been chewing on this material for years and I feel like I've basically said everything that I want to say. I just don't know how many more times I can say, "Look, if you refuse to take political Islam seriously it is you - Mr. Humanitarian Racist - who are treating these people like children or like our "little brown brothers" in need of fatherly protection."It's so obvious and it drives me bats that so few people get it.And at the same time we're constantly having to make clear to self-righteous assholes that, no, we're not talking about all Muslims. It's infuriating. It would be something akin to having to (again and again and again) constantly tell people in the late 1920s that you have nothing against Germans, it's just the Nazi variety that is a problem. And then you get accused of being racist! This shit is not rocket science. All it takes is a willingness to rise above party politics and to honestly give a shit what the truth is. You remember Dan Bielak, right? You used to always say, "Just tell the truth." And every time that he did so I just would roll my eyes and want to bang my head against the wall. It's That Noble Dream of perfect objectivity. A God's Eye View. But if there is one thing that is clear to me - particularly given this most recent horrific political season - it is the blind willingness of even highly intelligent people to think like ideological lemmings. In any case, I'll be around. I may be around more, but just without regular Sunday pieces. But I do feel it is getting long past time to put up or shut up... but the latter one is a long ways off no matter what. And you, I have to say, have been a great deal of help to me, as well. This blog has some good friends, but your friendship is among the very best.Cheers~!
Thank you for your kind words. No, we are not talking about all Muslims, they are!The blind willingness of even highly intelligent people to think like ideological lemmings, as you put it, is a huge disappointment to me personally. But isn't history chock full of this kind of shit? I always remember when I was growing up, people asking the question "How could a society such as Germany, full of great thinkers, descend into..." and you know the rest. But it wasn't the first, and won't be the last to "descend." My parents always referred to "the herd" with disdain. I guess I picked that up from them. As far as a book is concerned you're already off to a great start. Just look at your own archives as well as the comments your readers have supplied. There is a wealth of material there for you to expand upon. Benjamin Kerstein turned his essays on Chomsky and related topics into "Diary of an anti-Chomskyite." I'd like to see you on Dave Rubin's show. ttys
In the loudest voice, I proclaim that I am an avid reader - come devotee, of Israel Thrives. Never miss an offering! However...in as equally a loud exhortation, I am definitely one of those self-righteous ass-holes who makes NO distinction between Muslims....be they 'nice moderates' or 'crazed radicals'.Sorting the chaff from the wheat.... is just far too mind boggling for a realist when it comes to Islam....akin to an exercise in futility, come stupidity.Never the less, I will remain an ardent subscriber of this excellent newsletter/webpage.
Thanks, man. We're not disappearing from the Judeosphere. I am just rearranging priorities. As for the distinction between Muslims and Jihadis, it tends to be a sticky point. The left generally conflates criticism of the Jihad with criticism of all Muslims. In fact, they use that as a counter to any criticism of Islam. Thus they refuse to criticize the Jihad lest their fellow ideologues think of them as "Islamophobic."Our friends on the right tend to point out that Jihadism is integral to Islam and they have a good point. Jihad (both the "greater" and "lesser") are embedded in the heart of Islam. The good thing is that not all Muslims are good Muslims. That is, not all Muslims are intent on spreading Sharia. All I want is for the US to keep jihadis out of the US as a matter of immigration policy. The beauty in this approach is that it does not discriminate against regular people born in Muslim societies. And if anyone wants to ask me just how we are to determine the difference between the two, I think that's a terrific question that needs to be open for discussion. But let's have that national discussion. We're not even at the point where the West is even capable of having this discussion.
My difficulty Michael...in having a debate with you....on such an impassioned subject, is that the bulk of the time I totally agree with the mainstay of all other subjects you address....just this one, in respect of nice Muslims and nasty Muslims that we partially disagree. I think we are both too set in our thoughts. An example...you wish to keep Jihadi elements out of the US. That is thoroughly admirable ...yet I would venture that since 9/11 - the work of an external invading Jihadi force - 99% of radicalised Jihadi demeanour within the US has been the direct result of home grown, home conceived adoration of the Five Pillars of Islam....i.e. that is the doctrine/dogma - religious or otherwise - of their 1450 year old texts of (holy)instruction...as subscribed to by all Islamists...goodies and baddies....and the differing ways it affects them individually. Respectfully put...do you think that Islam would ever move down the path of (Self) Reformation...as occurred with most other religious identities within the past 200/300 years. Personally ...I don't...even allowing for the current tepid attempts such as the like of Egypt!(Of course I would be bordering on lunacy to believe every Muslim is a lone wolf religious jihadi zealot. That though; within itself, does not negate the fact that the base 'manifesto' - Islam's holiest of instructions is reverently followed by all Muslims...goodies and baddies - as a first order of duty.....hence the accelerating numbers of 'self taught' radicals, come jihadists, that now exist in the US...along with most Western societies....with a globally recorded 30,000 plus acts of Islamic terror since 9/11)I do acknowledge the commonsense of your suggestion that a discussion needs to take place as to arriving at a factor that determines moderate Muslims from radicals/jihadi inclined...allowing for the super optimistic stance that would be required in successfully executing that discussion. At base line Michael, our thoughts are similar...It's just that you have more faith in Muslim people per se, than I have in the holy instructions and directives of Islam itself. Yes...most definitely...you cannot disappear from the Judeosphere. What would I have to read at 3.00 a.m. most mornings. With thanks...Cheers.
I have tried this before with you Mike.A pious observant Muslim, anyway you look at it, cannot be a good Muslim. If you follow the evil book called the Koran, you cannot be good. The whole thing from whoa to go, is murder, rape, conquest, slavery and paedopillia.
Shirlee, my point is, was, and remains, that merely because someone was born into the Muslim faith it does not make them a jihadi. The best argument against my position is not that the Jihad is ideologically inherent to Islam. We all know that it is. The best argument against my position - and therefore in favor of a ban on immigration from hostile Muslim countries - is that it is difficult to separate those who wish to spread Sharia versus the rest. What is needed now, more than anytime in the past, is the willingness for free citizens from our respective western countries to finally open an honest conversation concerning the ongoin immigration crisis into the west so that the US (and Australia) do not end up like the western Euro countries that are teetering on the edge of chaos.
